Gold is the color of childhood cancer awareness and of Osteosarcoma which is the cancer I had when I was 12. I had a 25% chance of living past 15 and through the combination of miracle and my amazing doctors and nurses at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX I was able to survive! I am now 30 and have traveled the United States the last 11 years creating art as a model with artists, hiked in 43 states (what a huge deal for someone with bone cancer in their leg!) and am now engaged and living in Buffalo, NY living a fulfilling life working with pediatric cancer foundations like We'll Get This!
